About

I am a Writer/Editor with the Centre for Advanced Education Innovation at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. I review curriculum for accessibility, coherence, and effectiveness. In my role, I advocate for equal access to education for neurodivergent students.

I hold a degree in English and Creative Writing from Mount Royal University, where I won multiple awards for both creative and academic writing. My research focused on speculative fiction storyworlds and the mimetic process occurring between author, text, and reader. I love developmental editing for science fiction, especially those with creative and immersive storyworlds. My work has been published in temporary art installations, The Globe and Mail, Editor’s Weekly, Pithead Chapel, and The Writer’s Hearth.

I am a Gold Centennial Award Nominee, a 2020 Writers Guild of Alberta Mentorship Program Apprentice, and I received Honourable Mention for the 2021 Riddell Library Award for Research Excellence.
